When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me indulging in my love of food, upside down on a yoga mat, or spending time with my wife Erica and our 6 year old English bulldog.

t began at age 12, when my parents bought my three brothers and I an old school camcorder, and I became completely obsessed. Together, we would write scripts, stage epic war movies, create silly music videos, and submit film projects to school in lieu of writing papers. The camera quickly became a symbol of connection, collaboration, creativity, and pure joy.
My Background in NyC Wedding Photography
As I grew older, my love for capturing life only deepened. I constantly sought out new ways to capture the beauty and magic of the world, and eventually discovered the unique rewards of wedding photography.
To this day, whether it's capturing life in motion or freezing moments, the lens acts as a vessel - connecting me to the people and places in this world, close and far. My passion for visual storytelling continues to be my lifelong journey, connecting me to the rich tapestry of human experiences and the captivating stories they tell. And I can't wait to tell yours.
David was our wedding photographer, and we can't recommend his work highly enough. After meeting him for a chat while scouting photographers, we knew right away that we wanted to work with him. He was incredibly kind and made us feel at ease during the chaos of planning a wedding.
David is professional, provides clear information, a solid contract, and a helpful portal to track everything you need. On the day of the wedding, he was punctual and exceptionally kind to our family members—especially the older ones who might feel shy in front of the camera.
I usually hate being photographed, but David made me feel comfortable and confident. He talks to you like a close friend, makes you laugh, and beautifully captures the intimacy and love between you and your partner.
We received a preview of some of the photos and couldn’t stop looking at them. I’ve never felt as beautiful as I do in my wedding photos. We are overall so thankful to David for aesthetically capturing the magic and excitement of our wedding day. I can’t wait to hire him again to capture moments from our new life as husband and wife. We literally cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding photographer, Dave! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to capture every moment in the most beautiful, natural way. Not only are the photos absolutely stunning, but the entire experience of working with him was so seamless and fun.
Dave has a true gift!! Not just with the camera, but with people. My whole family could noy stop talking about how amazing he was! He made us feel completely comfortable and at ease, which is no small feat on such an emotional, fast paced day. He somehow managed to be everywhere without ever being intrusive, and the best part? ....Taking photos never felt like a chore or something pulling us away from the joy of our celebration. He kept the energy light and fun, so we were able to truly enjoy ourselves while he worked his magic.
He was also incredibly organized and thoughtful. Dave was punctual, creative, and completely on top of everything. He got every single shot I had requested on my shot list, which, as any bride knows, is such a relief AND he did it all while still letting the day flow naturally. I never once had to stress or check in because I knew he had it all handled.
And when we got our sneak peeks? OMG. The photos immediately transported us back to those magical moments. I felt all the emotions from that day rushing back. The joy, the love, the happy tears. He didn’t just take pictures, he literally captured feelings!!!

David Alan Visuals did an amazing job capturing both our engagement photos in Central Park and our NYE wedding night. He has such an eye for artistry and paid extreme attention to detail, which is seen from the photos of us getting ready, to our couples portraits, to the amazing action shots of the reception/party. David and his team did a remarkable job of catching all of the emotions felt throughout the day and night. Looking through the photos truly lets us relive the best day/night of our lives and I am thrilled with how they have turned out. David captured our engagement photos and then our wedding photos. He captured our engagement shoot in central park and then our wedding in Greenport, NY. I knew Davids work was phenomenal but I was blown away by the photos during each event. During the engagement shoot he made sure we were comfortable and we got used to the camera. I don’t have enough amazing things to say about Dave! My husband and I first met him at our engagement shoot and were both blown away by his kindness, energy, and his love for love. Dave made us feel so comfortable and nothing like the awkward people we usually are. Unsurprisingly the photos came out stunning. I was quite sick the year leading up to our wedding and Dave frequently checked in on me, helped with wedding timeline planning and was always there when we had questions. I can’t explain it but from the start it felt like he was a good friend. We got married two weeks ago and our friends / family are still talking about how great Dave was.
